Epidemiological Study on the Fluorosis of the Residents in the Mankyung Valley.

Abstract
|
|
|
The author had epidemiologicaly studied of the fluorosis on the residents in Dongjapo-Burak, Youkang-rhee, Packgu-myun, Kim jae-Ku.n, Jeonbug-do.
The dental f luorosis; D. M. F. ratio and the concentration of fluorine in the pump water of the village were analyzed during the period from April to October in 1979. The obtained results were as follows ;
1. The mottled teeth on the residents of Dongjapo-burak were certainly originated from the hyperconceftation of fluoride in the pump water and the fluorosisindex was 1:61.
2. In the residents in the village, D.M.F. -ratio was 52.70%.
3. The level of fluorine in the pump water of the village was from 1.15ppm to .1.85ppm.´
